effct. does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Period.
effct. has no server, no user accounts, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. The app runs entirely on your device. We do not collect any personal information, usage data, or telemetry of any kind.
All photos and videos you capture with effct. are stored locally on your device. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or accessed by us. When you enable "Save to Photos", media is saved directly to your device's Photo Library
effct. requests access to your camera to capture photos and videos, and optionally to your Photo Library to save media. These permissions are managed by iOS and can be revoked at any time in Settings. We do not access any data beyond what is necessary for the app to function.
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or any transaction details.
effct. does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
